THE FOX
The Fox Brewpub is a hospitality concept rooted in craft, flavor, and atmosphere — a space where tradition meets a more playful, contemporary spirit.
We were brought in to refresh the brand identity, evolving its visual language while preserving its most recognizable asset: the fox. The objective was to create a fresher, more appetizing brand that could better reflect the experience of the space, full of personality, taste, and energy.
The challenge was not to reinvent, but to reignite.
Insights
Brewpubs often lean heavily into either tradition or trend. Some feel overly classic and static, others feel temporary and overdesigned. The Fox already had something valuable: a strong character and a sense of place. Located within a historic building, the space naturally carries warmth, texture, and authenticity; qualities that should not be replaced, but enhanced.
This revealed a clear direction: To create a brand that balances heritage and playfulness, capturing both the history of the space and the liveliness of the experience.

We built the evolution of The Fox around a central idea: A classic, reinterpreted with character.
The identity retains the fox as the core symbol, reinforcing recognition and personality while refining its expression to feel more dynamic, inviting, and contemporary.
The system was designed to bring out the sensory side of the experience:
- Icon: A refined fox mark that feels expressive, memorable, and full of character
- Visual Language: A balance between classic pub cues and modern freshness
- Tone of Voice: Playful, witty, and full of double meanings — leveraging the name through clever, “tricky” phrases
- Atmosphere: A brand that visually and verbally reflects taste, warmth, and sociability
A concise brand manifesto and a flexible messaging system allowed the brand to speak with personality while remaining consistent across applications.
